Beginning Knitting Class Description and Supply List
 
This class will focus on a scarf.  Students will learn to cast on, knit, increase, decrease, bind off, and finish their project.  They will learn about different kinds of weights of yarn, different knitting styles, how to read a knitting pattern, and tools available.
 
 
Supplies
 
All supplies are available at Hobby Lobby in Ponca City.
 
Beginner Bee Beginner Yarn:  1 skein.  $3.49  Choose a light color, not black or navy blue.
 
Yarn Bee Soft and Sleek Chunky:  1 skein $4.99.  Choose any color other than black or navy blue.
 
Knitters Pride Bamboo Charm Knitting Needles, $3.99.  Size 10.
 
If any of these items are not in stock, Hobby Lobby can get them within a week.
