Basic Sourdough
Participants will receive a robust sourdough starter as part of this course. They will learn the basics of usage, maintenance and short – and long-term storage. Various feeding ratios and schedules will be discussed. Participants will learn the basics of a basic sourdough loaf including mixing, stretch and folds, proofing, shaping, scoring and baking. Inclusions will also be discussed. This course is perfect for the beginner or a new sourdough baker wanting more confidence with their skills.
