The CNA Plus program is a comprehensive 174-hour training course designed to prepare students for a career in patient care. This program includes certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), along with specialized skills training to enhance your healthcare capabilities. Students will participate in hands-on skills testing and complete a written examination for certification (please note that the written test fee is not included in the course cost).
In addition to CNA training, students will receive 48 hours of Fast Track Phlebotomy training to develop blood collection skills, and CPR/First Aid certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). The program also offers 24 hours of Patient Care Technician (PCT) training, focusing on vital signs monitoring, blood glucose testing, infection control, patient safety, and assistance with activities of daily living.
